This website
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking scripts, and builds no profile of visitors. Nothing you do here is recorded by us.
All fonts, images and other assets are served from this domain, so loading a page sends no request to any third party.
Our hosting provider processes technical request data, such as IP address and browser type, for the sole purpose of delivering pages and protecting the service against abuse. We do not receive or store that data.
If you contact us
When you email us we receive your address, your name if you give it, and whatever you write. We use it to answer you and, if we go on to work together, to run the project. We keep business correspondence for as long as the relationship lasts and for seven years afterwards, which is the retention period Dutch tax law requires for business records.
Client and project data
When we build or maintain software for a client, we may process personal data belonging to that client's users. In that situation the client is the controller and we act as a processor on their documented instructions, under a written agreement. We do not use that data for our own purposes and we do not keep it after the engagement ends, except where the client asks us to.
Who else sees your data
We share personal data only with service providers we need in order to operate: our email and hosting providers, and our accountant for invoicing and statutory records. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal data of yours we hold
- correct it if it is wrong
- delete it, where we are not required to keep it
- restrict or object to how we use it
- send it to you or another party in a portable form
Write to info@tavanalabs.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our answer you may complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access control, encryption in transit and at rest where applicable, and limiting access to the people who need it.
Changes
If this statement changes we will update the date above. Material changes will be communicated to clients directly.
