About Tavana Labs
Tavana Labs B.V. is a software development company registered in Amsterdam. We build and run software products of our own, and we work as a development team for other companies.
What we are
We are a small engineering company. That is deliberate: the people who scope a project are the people who build it, and there is no layer of account management between a client and the work.
We split our time between our own products and client projects. Building our own software keeps us close to the decisions that only appear when you own the result, and that experience is what we bring to client work.
Where we are
We are based in Amsterdam and work with clients in Europe and beyond. Work is done remotely by default, with time on site where a project needs it.

How we work
Four things a client can expect on any project we take on.
One team
The people who plan the work also build it. You deal with the engineers directly, and nothing is passed to someone you have not met.
From start to release
We take a project through development, testing and release, including app store submission and the work that follows a launch.
Regular updates
You get working software you can try throughout the project, and a clear view of what is finished and what is left.
Documented
We write documentation and keep it current, so your own team can maintain the work after we finish.
tavana, adjective, Persian: capable, able.
The name comes from a line of Persian poetry written a thousand years ago, which says that capability comes from knowledge. It is the first line most Iranian children learn by heart.
